Geek Fu LLC provides technical consultation, technical services and support, and remote administration services.
These services are provided on either a per project basis or as an ongoing service agreement with retainer.
Per Project Assignments
All per project arrangements will be discussed, quoted, and paid on an individual basis, and will not construe any agreement to provide any additional support or services outside of the initial agreement.
Once the initial project scope has been determined, an initial quote will be developed and accepted, and 50% of the final agreed upon total will be paid up front before any work begins. Once the project has been completed the remaining outstanding balance will be due within 30 days of project completion and acceptance.
For any project without a fixed scope or an open ended completion and initial deposit will be agreed upon before service is provided. Any billable hours, or incurred costs/expenses (e.g. 3rd party software licenses/subscriptions) will be billed separately from and in addition to the initial deposit. These additional fees will be due either within 30 days of the completion of the project for agreements of less than 30 days total, or pro-rated at the beginning of each calendar month for projects planned to exceed 30 days in duration.
Cancellation of an in progress project will only result in the refund/return of any funds paid in advance, and will not include hours already worked, or expenses already accrued. Any further discount/refund will only be considered in the case of work that was not completed as described in the initial agreement.
Ongoing Service w/ Retainer
Geek Fu LLC also provides ongoing consultation and service agreements for clients that need extended support, or for open ended projects (e.g. website development and ongoing maintenance, software setup, administration and maintenance, etc.)
These services will be discussed and agreed to up front, and an estimated monthly workload will be agreed upon. This agreement will include a minimum monthly retainer amount agreed to by both the client and Geek Fu LLC. This retainer will be paid on the first of each calendar month (or on another fixed date agreed to by both parties). Any additional hours worked, or expenses accrued (e.g. software licenses, 3rd party maintenance/subscription fees etc.) will be added to and due along with the following month’s retainer invoice.
Cancellation of an ongoing service agreement needs to be done at least 5 business days prior to the start of the following calendar month to avoid being billed the following month’s retainer.
Cancellation with at least 5 business days notification will result in cancellation of all services at the end of that calendar month. The client will still be billed for any additional hours, services, or expenses incurred during the cancellation period in excess of the already retained hours, as well as any outstanding balances.
If the agreement is cancelled within 5 business days of the next calendar month, then the client will still be charged the full monthly retainer, as well as any outstanding balance from the prior month as outlined above. The client will still receive the agreed upon hours/services/products for that month as per their agreement.
Refunds for any pre-arranged services/retainers etc. will only be granted in cases where Geek Fu LLC was unable to provide the agreed upon services, or the services provided do not meet industry standard for the work completed.
